Dear SAS Members & Friends,
It is time again to think about the Holidays since they are just around the corner. Earlier in October over 40 members and guests enjoyed a very authentic Berner Platte.
Upcoming events:
Along with this update you will receive the invitations for our upcoming events in December.
- Samichlaus will meet the children of our club on the afternoon on Dec 1, 2007
- Our annual Christmas Party will be held on Dec 9th at Nino’s Restaurant
In addition to these events the SAS will sell again some delicious Raclette at our booth at the Christmas Market of the Atlanta International School. If you are interested to volunteer please contact Markus Engel at markus.engel@gmail.com or by phone at 404-457-4599.
Ladies Luncheons
Thanks so very much to Sybille for hosting our first gathering at her home where about 10 ladies enjoyed a wonderful Mexican style lunch including some very tasty flan! Please mark your calendars for the next event on December 13th at 11.30am. More details will follow. If you are interested on joining this group please contact Sybille Hoegger by e-mail at hoggi@mindspring.com or by phone at 404-843-2942.
Gentlemen Lunch - reminder
Henry Hegetschweiler is still looking to form a luncheon group for the men of our club similar to the ladies luncheons. They plan to meet monthly if possible at a central location (restaurant) for lunch to discuss current events or topics in an informal and low key setting. Please contact Henry by e-mail at hegiptc@aol.com or by phone 770-487-4760.
